Filed

Affects
Internationally qualified dental graduates applying to the Dental Board of Australia for limited, general or specialist registration, and registered practitioners holding those registration types.

The Dental Board of Australia's fees page now carries a "Schedule of fees effective 1 October 2026" (page reviewed 1 October 2026). It sets the application fee for general, specialist and limited registration at AUD 611 each, and the registration fee for the same three types at AUD 852. For registrants whose principal place of practice is in New South Wales, a rebate of AUD 77 brings the registration fee to AUD 775. The panel assessment for specialist registration is listed at AUD 1,950.

The table below compares the new figures with the previous schedule on the same page, which took effect on 18 September 2025. A note on the Board's fee page states that on initial registration both an application fee and a fee for annual renewal of registration apply. The new schedule does not state which registration period the AUD 852 covers.
