About RxApply

We help clinicians
move abroad
without losing the years
they’ve already worked for.

RxApply started in 2019 because the founder, Dr. Bahman Yarahmadi, had just been through the FSP and decided to stop watching his classmates lose two years to the same paperwork mistakes.

Story

The first cohort was
eight people in a Telegram group.

Dr. Bahman Yarahmadi had just passed the FSP in Hessen in 2018, after losing nine months to a translation that wasn’t accepted, a Bundesland that didn’t exist on his timeline, and an embassy slot that opened at 2am Tehran time.

He thought: this happens to everyone. The next year he wrote a 22-page PDF for his classmates and ran a Telegram group of eight people through their own FSP. All eight passed.

In 2020 we added USMLE, in 2021 PLAB, in 2022 AMC and MCCQE, in 2024 the SST track in Denmark. The cohort structure stayed the same: one coach who has done it, one country at a time, one weekly live call.

RxApply today is 14 coaches across 6 cities, a small office in Tehran, and a much larger alumni network that does most of the in-country work — interview prep, housing notes, first-week calls.

Milestones

Seven years.
Six destinations.

Growth has been slow on purpose. We only add a destination when we have an alumnus willing to coach it.

  1. 2019

    First FSP cohort

Eight applicants from Tehran's class of 2016. All pass FSP within nine months.

  2. 2020

    USMLE pathway added

Reza Moazzami runs the first 18-person USMLE cohort during the pandemic. All live, all online.

  3. 2021

    PLAB & AMC opened

Two more pathways added. RxApply incorporates as a company in Tehran.

  4. 2022

    First dental cohort

10 dentists through Approbation Zahn in Niedersachsen. Pathway is added to the catalog.

  5. 2023

    Canada (MCCQE) & pharmacy

MCCQE added with a coach in Toronto. First pharmacy applicants matched through the Germany pathway.

  6. 2024

    Denmark & alumni network

SST track added. Alumni network passes 1,000. In-country WhatsApp groups now run themselves.

  7. 2026

    RxApply.com relaunch

Public site rebuilt to match the way cohorts actually work today: one coach per cohort, public outcomes per destination.

Coaches

One coach per destination.
Each one passed the same exam.

We refuse to coach a destination we haven’t survived ourselves. That keeps the catalog small and the advice specific.

How we work

Three rules we don’t break.

These have cost us money and we’ve kept them anyway. Drop one and the program becomes a worse version of every other one that exists.

01

Only coach what we've passed.

We won't open a destination on hearsay. Every coach has their own license certificate from the country they're coaching — verified, dated, in the bio. That's why the catalog has six countries and not sixteen.

02

No guaranteed match.

Anyone who guarantees a placement is selling a lottery ticket. We guarantee structure: every deliverable, every deadline, every feedback loop. Outcomes are reported with their denominators.

03

Stay in touch after the move.

The hardest week of the program is the first one after you land. We schedule a first-week call. It catches problems while they're still small. Alumni stay in the WhatsApp group forever.

Talk to a coach

We’d like to meet you.

30 minutes. You bring the exam dates and the destination shortlist. We bring the timeline and the coach.
