The Home Office published a revised immigration and nationality fees table effective 8 April 2026, with most categories rising by roughly 6–7%. For a dentist entering on the Health and Care Worker route, the visa fee for the main applicant and each dependant rose from £304 to £324 where the certificate of sponsorship covers three years or less, and from £590 to £628 where it covers more than three years. Indefinite leave to remain rose from £3,029 to £3,226 per applicant.
Standard Skilled Worker fees also rose, for example from £769 to £819 for a CoS of three years or less. The certificate of sponsorship charge paid by the employer stayed at £525. These are visa fees only and exclude the Immigration Health Surcharge, the Immigration Skills Charge and priority services. The Skilled Worker salary floor is unchanged at £41,700 a year or the going rate, whichever is higher.
