Registration for North American locations opened 15 September 2026 at 10:00 ET, and for Australia and New Zealand on 22 September 2026 at 10:00 ET. The exam itself is 5 February 2027 in Canada and 6 February 2027 in Australia and New Zealand, with a common registration deadline of 4 January 2027 at 21:00 ET.
The next AFK after that is 13 August 2027 in Canada, with registration opening 2 March 2027. Other published dates include the ACJ on 9 November 2026 and 4 May 2027, and an NDECC block running 4 January to 11 March 2027 with a registration deadline of 20 October 2026. The NDEB notes that exams often fill before the deadline is reached.
Update, 3 October 2026: the NDEB's examination dates page now lists the February 2027 AFK registration deadline as 4 January 2027, 21:00 ET, for both the Canada and the Australia/New Zealand sittings; the NDEB's earlier Special Notice gave 15 December 2026.
