Ontario amended its immigration regulation with effect from 25 June 2026, closing all eight existing OINP streams — including Express Entry Human Capital Priorities, the French-speaking Skilled Worker and Skilled Trades streams, the three Employer Job Offer streams, and the Master's and PhD Graduate streams — and replacing them with a single Ontario Workforce Priority stream. The expression-of-interest portal for the new stream opened on 4 August 2026.
The TEER 0–3 pathway that covers dentists now requires a full-time permanent job offer in Ontario, CLB 6 language, and a post-secondary degree or diploma; applicants already licensed in Ontario are exempt from the work-experience requirement. The only no-job-offer route in the new stream is for self-employed physicians registered with the CPSO — dentists are not included. Applications already submitted under a former stream are assessed under the rules in effect when they were filed.
