The ADC released its 2027 examination calendar on 24 June 2026. For dentists, the 2027 Period 1 written exam is 17–18 March 2027, with an initial assessment deadline of 11 October 2026 and an application period of 8–15 December 2026. The Period 2 written exam is 8–9 September 2027, with an initial assessment deadline of 11 April 2027 and an application period of 8–15 June 2027.
On the practical side, Period 1 applications run 14–23 October 2026 for exams held January to May 2027; Period 2 applications run 10–19 February 2027 for exams May to August 2027; and Period 3 applications run 16–25 June 2027 for exams August to December 2027. The written exam is delivered with Pearson VUE twice a year. Testing centres have capacity limits and Pearson VUE centre availability varies by country. Pearson VUE says it cannot schedule or deliver exams for Iran residents from 8 September without proof of primary residency elsewhere; booked exams cancelled.
